Softmii 3.0 has finally been released. You can get it here: http://softmii.org/section-blog/43-wiiguides/117-softmod40.html It's at the top of the page. All of the installation instructions are on the linked page. Remember, COMPLETELY follow the instructions! Do NOT do anything else on your own unless you know or understand what you are doing. If you break your Wii doing this (there's an extremely small chance of this happening. I've hacked many Wiis, and it's never happened.), it is NOT my fault. I'm just spreading the news of the new hacks. That was my disclaimer. XD PS: Install BootMii to boot2, and after you're done everything hackwise, go back into BootMii (have your SD card inserted when you turn on the Wii, or go to it with the HBC) and backup your system.
They've done it. The hackers of the Wii have finally cracked open System Menu 4.0! What you do is:
Rename the folder named "private" on your SD Card to "privateold" (without the quotes)
Put the folder "private" (the new one) on the root of your card.
Remove the the disk from your Wii, if one is inserted.
On your Wii go to: Wii Options -> Data Management -> Channels -> SD Card
Insert your SD Card
A menu should pop up asking if you want to run the boot.dol/boot.elf file on your SD card. Say yes, and it'll run whatever file you have on your card root named boot.dol or boot.elf. I'd suggest running the HackMii installer, so that you can install the Homebrew Channel, DVDx, and BootMii all at once. Please go to Wiibrew.org, or hbc.hackmii.com for information on the mentioned pieces of software. Good luck!
I made this logo for the site. How many people like it? Ksxx has an idea for another one. It looks like cross hairs with the circle for the "O" in OMIGHTY1, and an "H" for Hideout as the crosshair lines. The left line in the "H" is going to look like a "1". Here's mine:
Follow the movement of the rotating pink dot with your eyes and the dots will remain only one color, pink. But if you stare at the black "+" in the center, the moving dot will turn green. (by Jeremy L. Hinton)
Ash Wednesday is the day marking the start of Lent, the 40 days between now and Easter, during which you give up something during that period if it will bring you closer to God. You may or may not celebrate it, God bless you if you do, but I ask all who read this to watch the video below. Think about what the words mean. For those of you who don't celebrate Lent or even don't go to church or believe in God, may you find Him. PS: John 3:16=win.
